We could not of had a more pleasurable and personable experience as we did today. We had plans to go to a bigger store for mattress shopping, but pulled in to Metro Mattress in Lockport to see what they had. The staff was so friendly and personable, they listened to my back issues and guided us to different types of mattresses. She had us try an adjustable bed and oh my goodness - I just might be back in a bed instead of recliner and couch. I am so looking forward to our new Temperpedic Adjustable Bed. Was planning on shopping around for a new bed and my boyfriend knows an employee that works at this location. Figured we walk in just to get information, but instead, we were approved and will have all of our stuff delivered by this Thursday. This was by far the best shopping experience I've ever had shopping for a bed, not to mention the most fun I've had shopping for a new bed. I highly recommend this location! The selection is great, the staff is knowledgeable and helpful and is no where near pushy. When shopping at this store, or even just looking for more information, make sure Laura is working. She's the best!

I went to the Lockport location and as soon as I walked in I was greeted by Pauley. He asked what I was looking for, game me a pillow and started me off testing mattresses. He was very patient and checked on me several times showing me all different options. When I couldn’t decide between two I really liked he sat down and went over prices with me and differences between the two options. I was able to make my purchase and felt really good about it.

Originally I was going to give 4-5 stars, but as the delivery went on, the process didn’t get smoother. I enjoyed the salesperson Jack and had no problem with that part of the transaction. When it was time for delivery, the delivery person called me 3 times unable to find my apartment. Not a huge deal, We figured that out. But after bringing my new mattress in, they told me they were not taking my old mattress out. This is not at all what I was told at the store. In fact, I was told (while still at the store) that the salesperson forgot to put it in my deal so i’m actually getting my mattress removal for free instead of the normal charge since they have to add it in after the fact. Sounds good to me. Except that clearly wasn’t fully communicated as the delivery people were not taking anything. I had to call the store while the delivery people were at my apartment, and I was then told they can’t even help me because my salesperson is off today so there’s nothing they can do. Seriously? I work in customer service myself and that’s not right. Thankfully the delivery people must have also realized how that was wrong and they took my old mattress for me anyways. However, after the delivery people left, I came downstairs and the first floor of my apartment building was COVERED in the packaging materials and garbage removed from what they just delivered to me. Thrown all over the floor. The 3 stars is for the poor customer service the store has even after you spend a lot. And throwing garbage all over the complex that is not even mine. 👍🏻 The only reason i’m even giving 3 stars is because I like the actual product I purchased. For further clarification, this review of 3 stars is for the store and how they handled everything. As far as the salesperson, 5 stars for them.

Very pleased with the customer service received at the Lockport Metro Mattress Location. We went in with the mindset of getting a decent mattress and trying to keep the cost down but we ended up buying a Tempur-Pedic. The salesperson, Laura, was very thorough in explaining the differences in all the mattresses there and the importance of lumbar support in them. They were missing a bolt for the adjustable bed when they delivered it and we were able to find one in the house that matched.
