Extremely happy with the experience we had at metro mattress! As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted by Steve Martin. We told him how I have back problems and need a mattress to relieve the stress. He brought us to a few different options that he thought would be best! He was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed the conversation while testing the mattresses. We ended up purchasing the first mattress he suggested!! I recently had the most amazing experience shopping for a mattress. I went into Metro Mattress in Johnstown about 10 minutes before the store closed to try a mattress I had researched online. Cherie greeted me with a smile and was super friendly asking me what I was shopping for. The exact mattress I was looking for was not in the store, but she told me she could help me make the decision and was able to get the mattress I was looking for if that’s what I wanted. She was not pushy and took extra time to help me try a similar mattress and helped explain the differences. She did not try to upsell me and in fact suggested that since I would have 365 days to try the mattress to go with the less expensive one first. I ended up purchasing the one that was a bit more expensive as I wanted the more cooling effect and better quality the mattress offered. Cherie was very knowledgeable and was like talking with a friend who wanted me as the customer to make the best decision for me. She stayed past closing time to help me out and never once did I feel she was trying to rush me. If you’re looking for a mattress, I highly recommend Cherie at The Johnstown Metro Mattress to help you make the best decision! I’m anxiously awaiting my new mattress to arrive!Edit: I received my new mattress 2 days ago, exactly as scheduled. The service was superior, bringing my mattress to my home into my home, up a flight of stairs and set everything up, including my adjustable frames, which didn’t even come from them. We went in to look at mattresses without the intentions of buying on this day. The sales person Kyle was very accommodating and helped us choose the perfect mattress. The prices are a bit high but you really get what you pay for! The quality of the mattress and the quality of the customer service from the show room to the delivery was A++. I picked out the Chattam & Wells Windsor Castle Luxe mattress. I researched the company and was very impressed with the quality and workman-ship that went into the production of this brand. I was also lucky enough to have a Metro Mattress near-by where I could actually visit. This is a mattress you just have to see and feel for yourself. It also sits beautifully on the Avon Platform that I also purchased there. Cherie and Jacob were beyond helpful and informative, making my decision very easy. Kyle and Steve were the two most comfortable guys to deal with. Me and my wife went in to look at a "cost efficient" mattress which we didn't like at all so they helped us try out literally a dozen mattresses till we finally agreed on one. Both gentlemen were extremely patient and in my opinion very easy to talk to and to get along with, I'd definitely go back in the future and highly recommend the both of them. Doing business with Metro Mattress was a delight! Cherie, the salesperson, was easy-going, knowledgeable, and downright fun. My husband and I were looking for an organic mattress free from chemicals and poisonous off gasing and memory foam. I called Metro Mattress and talked with Jacob, super nice guy really knows his products...I explained our needs and he told me about CHATTAM & WELLS brand made with cotton and wool and steel springs that was certified organic and has no odors at all.... so we took a 45 minute a ride to see this mattress. There we were greeted by Shari, super nice lady and answered all our questions, she too knew her products...she showed us all the mattresses in the Chattam & Wells collection... We fell in love with the CHAMBORD EUROTOP of that collection. I wanted to do a bit more research on this brand which I never heard of, before I committed to buying one and I was in awe how well made and free from all chemicals it was. The upper management whom I do not know this person's name was awesome in helping us with a working out the payment. We bought the Mattress!We got the mattress delivered the next day! AMAZING SERVICE! Jacob and Shari were hundred percent correct in that the mattress would have zero off gasing or any hazardous materials! OMG I LOVE THIS MATTRESS. Mattress arrived at 3pm ..great delivery guys super nice... and 5 hours later my husband is out like a light and before he fell into his deep sleep..he said this mattress just supports and hugs you and just feels so comfortable and 5 minutes later ZZZZZZZZZ land. From first contact with super nice and well informed representatives Jacob and Shari and the awesome customer service of the upper Management willing to work with us, which we so appreciate, to the super nice and respectful guys who delivered the mattress....this has been an AWESOME and PLEASANT experience! Thank you all so very much!

They were missing a bolt for the adjustable bed when they delivered it and we were able to find one in the house that matched. That day they called to say that they will replace the foundation this weekend. Great customer service and I feel like I've gotten my money's worth.
